2024 Best of the Art League

The Best of the Bald Eagle Art League is a juried art show held at the Taber Museum every year on the first Thursday of November.  League members join together to view and discuss each others work.  This juried show is for original paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, etc.  Both two dimensional and three dimensional works are welcome.

​The Best of Bald Eagle Art League 2024 Reception was held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Taber Museum from 5 to 8 pm.

2024 Guidelines

  • Be a member is good standing with 2024 dues paid
  • Work must be ready to hang using the hanging system at the Taber Museum.  If 3D work, please provide a pedestal.  Alternately, you can show on a table at the museum
  • Up to 2 pieces may be entered
  • Art must be original (not a print) and can not have won a ‘Best of the Bald Eagle Art League’ award in the past
  • Current work created in the last year is preferred
  • Drop off work on Monday, November 4th or Tuesday, November 5th from 4 to 6 pm at the Taber Museum, 858 W. 4th Street, Williamsport, PA
  • Complete a contest tag for each piece and attach to the back/bottom of your work
  • Prepare to bring a snack or beverage to the event on Thursday
  • Pick up work on Monday, November 25 or Tuesday, November 26 from 4 to 6 pm

  • uniqueness/originality
  • professional quality (neatness and craft)
  • aesthetic quality (design, composition, color/tones)
